Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: August 1, 2026

When you connect an Instagram professional account to Havinta, we store your Instagram account ID, username, account type, access token, and the direct messages and comments delivered to your connected account so they can appear in Havinta's unified inbox. This page explains how to have that data removed.

Step 1: Revoke access from Instagram (recommended first step)

Revoking Havinta's access directly from Instagram immediately stops us from receiving any further data about your account:

  1. Open Instagram and go to your profile.
  2. Tap the menu icon, then go to Settings and privacy.
  3. Go to Apps and websites (sometimes listed as Authorized apps or Active in the third-party access section).
  4. Find Havinta and select Remove access.

Step 2: Request deletion of your stored data

To have Havinta delete the data we have stored about your connected Instagram account — including your access token, connected account record, and any messages or comments we have ingested — email stevelayton@outlook.com from the email address associated with your Havinta account and include the Instagram username of the account you would like disconnected. We will confirm the account, delete the associated data from our systems, and reply once it is complete, typically within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Your Havinta workspace and sign-in account are not deleted as part of this process unless you separately request account deletion in the same email.

For more on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
